François L. MEYNOT was born on the 31st of October 1951. French barrister, he graduated in Business Law and Taxation (University of Montpellier).
His career started in London where he worked in a Solicitor’s office (John Partner LLP) and later he joined Coopers & Lybrand in the mid-seventies, which, at the time, was the first audit office of the "Big eight" on an international level. He was appointed as a partner from 1983 to 1990.
In parallel to his work as a lawyer, François L. MEYNOT is also an Associate Professor and teaches at the Universities of Montpellier, Dijon, Cairo and Libreville.
After forming the advisory law office BERLIOZ, from 1990 to 1993, François L. MEYNOT created the law firm in which he is currently active, MB & Associates, located on Avenue d'Eylau in the 16th arrondissement of Paris.
His main legal activities include all matters pertaining to business law and in particular taxation, company law, assistance for foreign investments and project financing.
Deeply involved with work in certain African countries (Ethiopia, Djibouti, Guinea and Gabon) and the Middle East (Lebanon, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman and Kuwait), François L. MEYNOT offers all his experience and expertise at conferences in order to promote investment in these areas. He participated notably in the African Business Forum in Colombia, Mexico, the United States and France.
Admitted to the Paris and Brussels bars, François L. MEYNOT is member of the International Fiscal Association (IFA), the American Tax Institute (ATI), the Union Internationale des Avocats (UIA) and the Institut des Avocats Conseils Fiscaux (IACF).
